According to the investigation, on January 23, at 04:20, the forces of the Russian Federation carried out an airstrike on Kostyantynivka – it was a hit on the private sector, a 53-year-old woman died in one of the houses, and her 70-year-old husband received a concussion and a shrapnel wound.
The victims were provided with medical assistance. Previously, the forces of the Russian Federation used the FAB-250 with the UMPK module for the strike.
At least 16 private houses and two cars were damaged in populated areas. Pre-trial investigations have been started in criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes (parts 1, 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
