Due to the weather conditions in Poland and the Czech Republic, trains bound for Ukraine are still on the territory of the EU countries and have no chance to keep up with the schedule.
About this informs press service of “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
Due to the floods that covered the Czech Republic and Poland, trains heading to Ukraine remained on the territory of these countries in order to catch connecting flights in Ukraine.
As of the morning of September 15, both trains from Prague – to Chop and to Przemyśl – are still on the territory of the Czech Republic.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” noted that they are ready to accept passengers with tickets for today’s trains on any flight of the company in a similar direction within the next 24 hours to any available seats without exchanging tickets.
At the same time, passengers heading towards Prague are advised to contact Czech and Polish carriers to clarify schedules. There is a possibility that it will be necessary to provide overnight accommodation in docking cities.
