Viceremier-Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka announced the discussion of the Presidential Bill to strengthen the independence of anti-corruption bodies.
According to him, experts on the rule of law joined the second meeting, which analyzed proposals aimed at strengthening the powers of NABU and SAP and guarantees of their institutional independence.
Against the background of concern due to the previous legislative restriction of NABU and SAP powers, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine will not risk its European integration.
We will remind, the scandalous project on the work of NABU and SAP want to be removed because of violations.
The Council will also consider Zelensky’s bill on the strengthening of NABU and SAP’s powers on July 31.
