Direct language of the head of the intelligence center of defense forces of Estonia Colonel Ants Kiviselga: “We know that Israel had the opportunity to strike a drone production plant in Iranian Isfahan, and Ukrainians have repeatedly attacked the plant in Elabuz (Tatarstan), where drones for the Russian army are also produced.”

Details: So, he said, it is possible that in the near future “we will see a certain reduction in the intensity of use of drones.”
Kiviselg stated that he noticed a certain pattern in Russian attacks: within 4-5 days of the Russian Federation launched 60-70 drones, after which the accumulated forces used for a large -scale impact – simultaneous launch of 350-450 drones. Similar tactics were applied to the use of rockets – both winged and ballistic.
Despite the possible future reduction of the intensity of drone attacks in Ukraine, the head of military intelligence of Estonia is convinced that “the Russian Federation is already planning further steps to not only support but also increase the production of drones.”
Kiviselg also emphasized that the Russian Federation is increasingly resorting not to sighting attacks in one object, but to scattered blows for various purposes – in particular for civilian objects and residential areas.
“The new reality is that if earlier attacks on civilian infrastructure were single, now they have become systemic. Bright examples are a night attack on Kiev on June 17 and a blow to Odessa on Thursday night,” he said.
Kiviselg also stated that the summer offensive of Russia, which has been going on for the second month, “actually stalled in the east of Ukraine because of the stubborn defense of Ukrainians and turned into tactical fighting, in which the Russians are trying to move despite the great losses.”
According to him, the intensity of Russian attacks remains at the same level as in the previous weeks – about 150-160 attacks daily.
“On the basis of the nature of attacks, it can be said that the main efforts of the Russian Federation are concentrated in the Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region, where half of combat clashes occur,” he said.
Commenting on the situation in the Sumy region, the head of the military intelligence of Estonia indicated that, despite its initial achievements and constant attempts, the offensive there in general stopped.
Speaking of Russia’s potential further actions, Kiviselg noted that despite the fact that the strategic goals of the Russian Federation have not changed – it is not able to reach a breakthrough on a single section of the front, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine can control pressure.
