36 participating clubs are divided into 6 teams by 6 baskets before the draw according to UEFA club rating.
Shakhtar is included in the first basket, and Dynamo – in the second.
It will be the second consecutive season with a new format. At the main stage there will be a single standings for 36 teams. Basically, 6 rounds are planned.
The 8 best clubs will immediately get to the 1/8 finals, and those who will be completed in positions from 9 to 24 will play in the 1/16 finals for the exit next.
All rivals will be determined by one draw on a special computer system. Each club will hold one match with representatives of each basket.
The tournament final is scheduled for May 27, 2026 in German Leipzig.
