On October 21, a match of the 1/16 finals of the women’s tournament of the WTA 125 series took place in Rovereto, Italy, on a hard surface.

Ukrainian woman Darya Snigur (WTA 170), the 8th seed, lost to her opponent and was eliminated from the competition

Qualifier Eva Guerrero Alvarez (WTA 303) won an unexpected victory in three sets with the score 4:6, 7:6 (7:5), 6:3.

The match lasted almost 2.5 hours. It was the first meeting of tennis players among themselves.
