The initiator of both legislative acts is a deputy from the “Voice” faction
Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
“And here we learn that the “supervisor” of energy and Derkach’s assistant keeps the Minister of Ecology at that time (and now the Minister of Energy) Svitlana Grynchuk on his salary. My resolution on the dismissal of Grynchuk and Galushchenko from the positions of members of the Government is already in the Council,” the deputy wrote before that in a telegram.
So far, neither Grynchuk nor Galushchenko have publicly responded to this.
Earlier today, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced that it had conducted a “large-scale operation” to expose corruption in the energy sector together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
NABU stated that the activities of a “high-level criminal organization” were documented, more than 70 searches were conducted, in which all detectives of the bureau were involved. According to NABU, the main activity of the criminal organization was the systematic obtaining of illegal benefits from the contractors of “Energoatom” in the amount of 10% to 15% of the value of the contracts.

NABU claims that the head of the criminal organization involved the former deputy head of the State Property Fund, who later became an adviser to the Minister of Energy, as well as a former law enforcement officer who held the position of executive director of the company’s physical protection and security to implement the scheme. At the same time, the bureau does not specify who headed this criminal organization.
People’s deputy from “Holos” Yaroslav Zheleznyak said that searches are being conducted at “Energoatom” and at the former Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko, who is currently the Minister of Justice. The Ministry of Justice did not comment on these reports.
It also became known earlier today that the detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau searched Timur Mindich, a businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio. It is not yet known whether these cases are related.
