On the border with Poland, the crossing point “Nyzhankovychi-Malkhovice” is temporarily suspended, the State Border Service of Ukraine (SPSU) said in a statement.

“According to the information from the Polish side, border customs clearance will be suspended from 00 hours 00 minutes on September 30, 2024. According to preliminary information, the construction of the future crossing point “Nyzhankovichi-Malhovice” is planned to be completed this year,” the department says.

The DPSU is also asked to take this information into account and choose other border crossing points.

On September 6, it became known that traffic delays are possible at all checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border due to a technical failure. A technical failure occurred in the system of the customs service of the Republic of Poland. On September 9, the passage of trucks was resumed after a technical failure.

On August 28, it became known that on the Polish side, repair work began at the “Medyka” checkpoint at 11 o’clock. On August 8, the DPSU reported traffic jams at two checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border.

As the border guards said, “Ukrainians began to cross the border more often through checkpoints on the border with Poland due to the tourist season. Currently, the increase in passenger traffic has increased by 40%.”
