On November 3, the Ministry of Statistics reminds parents of future students that November 15 is the deadline to send a request for the Student Package.
“Get 5,000 hryvnias for clothes, shoes, stationery, educational literature and children’s books for your child who is going to school. More than 197,000 parents have already received approval for payments under the Schoolboy Package, and more than 188,000 have already received money for their Diya.Card. Get support from the state in Diya right now, too,” the message states.
How to get money:
A schoolboy’s package In Ukraine, the implementation of the state program “Student’s package” continues, which provides for the provision of a one-time financial aid of 5 thousand hryvnias for each child who enters the first grade. Children who are temporarily abroad or in temporarily occupied territories will be able to receive support after returning home.
If there are two first-graders in the family, the payment is given for each of them. Parents or other legal representatives of children who will enter first grade in the controlled territory of Ukraine in the 2025-2026 school year are entitled to the payment.
The application for receiving a one-time financial aid in paper form is submitted to the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Together with the application, in which to receive the payment, in particular, the details of the current account with a special mode of use, opened in an authorized bank, one of the parents or the legal representative of the child provides:
- passport (or other identity document);
- registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card – RNOKPP (if available);
- documents confirming the authority of the legal representative (if necessary).
The rest of the documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate, court decision) are provided in paper form if it is impossible to receive them by the PFU through electronic information interaction. The deadline for submitting applications is November 15, 2025. PFU processes applications. In the case of confirmation of the right to receive payment, forms payment information and transfers funds to the bank. One-time financial aid can be used only for the purchase of necessary school supplies, clothes and shoes for a first-grader in stores and from entrepreneurs who have the appropriate activity code. The term of using the money is 180 days from the moment of its accrual.
