Donald Trump urged to approve the drafting on steiblcoins

US President Donald Trump called on Congress to adopt a law on stablcoin regulation. He stated this during a speech at the Digital Asset Summit 2025.

According to him, “stable coins will increase the dominance of the dollar.”

Trump also criticized bank discrimination on cryptocurrency companies, which was called “Chokepoint 2.0” in the industry. Earlier, journalists reported the plans of the Head of State to put an end to the debaning of the industry participants.

“We stop the regulatory war against cryptocurrencies and bitcoin, which is resolved by the previous administration, and this covers the stop of the Chokepoint illegal operation. [Вона] went far beyond adjustment […]. Honestly, it was a shame. But since January 2025 it is all in the past, ”he said.

In Trump’s address, he promised to make America “the undisputed bitcoin-reactor and cryptosist of the world.” He noted that his administration had already stopped selling confiscated digital assets.

“Innovators such as you will be able to improve our banking and payment system, as well as promote confidentiality, security and well -being both US consumers and businesses,” the President emphasized.

On March 6, Trump signed a decree establishing a strategic bitcoin reservo (SBR), which provides for the storage of assets confiscated by the Ministry of Finance within the framework of criminal and civil cases. The next day, the White House took place with the participation of the Head of State, which disappointed investors because of the lack of specifics in the government’s plans for the industry.

Recall that in the United States intends to submit a bill, designed to protect SBR from possible abolition of future head of state.
