Dollars in briquettes packed by US banks were seized from those involved in energy corruption schemes. According to journalist Yuriy Nikolov, this can increase interest in the case on the part of American investigators.

He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

Nikolov noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky himself is legally protected from NABU and FBI investigations, and there is currently no threat to him. At the same time, the withdrawal of dollars indicates the scale of corruption schemes in the energy sector and may attract additional attention of foreign investigators.
