More than half a hundred injured people are in Zaporizhzhya hospitals after the Russian air raid on the city on January 8, three of the hospitalized have traumatic amputations.

Direct speech Tamila Ismailova, deputy medical director of the hospital where most of the injured were admitted: “66 injured were admitted to our hospital, 37 were hospitalized. The others were given medical assistance, but they refused to be hospitalized. Of the 37 patients who remained in our treatment, 9 patients are in the intensive care unit, 7 remain in stable condition and one patient is in critical condition.
Explosive trauma, acubarotrauma, open craniocerebral injuries, bone fractures, damage to internal organs. Three victims with amputations of a traumatic nature.”
Details: The medical institution notes that the patients are in a difficult psychological state – psychologists work with them.
Another 14 victims with herbs of varying degrees of severity were hospitalized in two more hospitals of the city, in particular, in one of them, two injured people are in a serious condition in the intensive care unit.
A 13-year-old child was also injured during the attack on Zaporizhzhia. The girl suffered a mild concussion and is currently undergoing outpatient treatment.
Prehistory:
- On January 8, at 3:40 p.m., the Russians struck two guided air bombs (FAB-500 from UMPK) on the territory of the regional center. They exploded in a crowd of people – near the administrative part of the infrastructure facility and the roadway. The building and vehicles were taken over.
- The number of dead and injured was growing all the time. As of the morning of January 9, the number of injured people as a result of guided aerial bomb attacks on Zaporizhzhia increased to 113 people, 13 residents of the city were killed.
