Details: Dmitriev answered the question whether there were any security guarantees for Ukraine that Russia could accept.

“I think that Ukraine’s accession to NATO, as our president stated, is absolutely impossible. And I think it was widely recognized, in particular the administration of President Trump,” the Russian representative said.
However, he added that “certain security guarantees in some form may be acceptable.”
Dmitriev assured that Vladimir Putin wants a “long peace in Ukraine”, and that he publicly voiced “some conditions” for this.
The Russian envoy was also asked if Russia would go with aggression against other states if a peace agreement on Ukraine is reached.
“There are a lot of false and fake narratives, that Russia can go to Europe. I think it’s just a crazy thought. The problem is that there are so many crazy people, and they all discuss it … I think President Trump is very realistic, he knows that it will not happen.”
In the same interview, Dmitriev accused Ukraine of violation of the energy truce and assured that Russia did not ask the United States for the removal of sanctions in the negotiation process on the termination of the war.
Dmitriev is in Washington to negotiate with the US administration to establish a dialogue between the US and the Russian Federation, for his visit the United States has lifted sanctions from him.
