Did the races begin? In Minisfra reacted to a new Chinese application of DEEPSEEK

Did the races begin? The Ministerfra reacted to the new Chinese Deepseek Chinese Chinese DEEPEEEK, created for $ 6 million, bypassed Chatgpt on the App Store. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine considers it an evolution, not a revolution, despite a significant fall in Tech giants.”, – Write On: Unn.ua

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine responded to the emergence of a new Chinese Deeseek and noted that “it is not a revolution but an evolution” that “is unlikely to affect the race for creating AGI,”, reports UNN.

Details

Brief about the new Chinese application:

Deeseek was ahead of Chatgpt in the App Store rating.

DEESEEEK R1 (Open Shi Model) was developed in 2 months and only for $ 6 million, which is much cheaper than billions spent by Western companies. R1 queries cost 98% cheaper than on Chatgpt.

Despite the US restriction on the export of powerful chips, Deeseek used NVIDIA H800 available with its own innovations.

Due to the breakthrough of DeepeseEK, NVIDIA shares fell 12%and Meta and Microsoft by 4%. European companies ASML and Tokyo Electron have also suffered losses.

We think deepeseek is not a revolution, but evolution: they have successfully combined existing developments and made it cheaper. But this is unlikely to affect the race for creating AGI (super-isi), which remains the main purpose of the industry. The current market reaction can be exaggerated, but investors begin to think about the effectiveness of high costs in the AI (recall 500 billion per Stargate)
