25-year-old biathlete of the Norway national team Philip Field Andresen He told the fans on the social network that he decided to complete his professional career.

In the Instagram application, the Norwegian did not explain why he made such a decision. However, Andresen mentioned all the episodes throughout his career.

“Dreams should be achieved, and 10-year-old Philip had the dream of becoming the best biathlonist in the world. For the last 12 years, it has been a dream I have been working on, especially the last 8 years. The road consisted of ups and falls, fortunately, most of the first. I am very grateful for everything I gave me: wonderful friends and amazing memories. I did not become the best biathlonist in the world, but I really learned how it was, and was able to compete with the best of the best in the largest arena. I think 10-year-old Philip would be proud of it.

Although skiing was my life, but fortunately, sports are not everything in life. I am now waiting for a period of identity crisis when I am no longer a biathlete, but I am waiting for what life can offer me. I also want to thank everyone who supported me on the way to my dream, I am incredibly grateful to you for that, ”Andresen said.

During the performance at the professional level, the biathlete twice won the World Cup and twice became the winner of the Junior World Cup (silver and bronze).
