The changes do not apply to the deputies who receive salaries in local self -government bodies.

“Today, the government has made a decision concerning women deputies of local councils working on a public basis: now they will be able to cross the state border during martial law,” she wrote.
Sviridenko reminded that even on a legal leave, they could not leave to see their relatives or bring help for our military. According to her, it limited volunteer activity and forced some to make a mandate.
“The new solution is eliminating these barriers. We want women deputies to remain active and continue to develop their communities,” the Prime Minister said.
It is said that the changes concern the deputies of all levels of councils, except those who receive salaries for their work in local self -government bodies.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko published in his Telegram-channel explanation about the conditions of crossing the state border with women deputies of local councils during martial law.
“The deputy of local (village, settlement, city, district in cities, district, regional) council is an unpaid activity. Therefore, the legislation does not forbid work in other works, including those not related to local self -government bodies,” Klimenko wrote.
According to him, if a deputy of a local council is a teacher or doctor, she can cross the border, but if the deputy works in local self -government bodies and, accordingly, receives a salary from the local budget – then traveling abroad is still possible only within the office.
Also, according to August 27 by a resolution, local self-government bodies within three days should submit to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine the renewed lists of persons, which are defined in paragraph 2-14 of the Government Resolution No. 57 (“On Approval of the Rules of Crossing the State Border with Citizens of Ukraine”) and may cross the border.
“In the future, during personnel changes, such information should be submitted to the STSU no later than the next day after the appropriate decision is made,” Klimenko said.
