Details: The Danish intelligence report notes a significant change in Washington’s geopolitical behavior. Analysts of the department note that the US is increasingly giving priority exclusively to its own interests, moving away from traditional partnership obligations.

According to the report, the US is “now using its economic and technological power as an instrument of power”, which applies not only to competitors but also to NATO allies and partners.
“The US uses economic force, including threats of high tariffs, to impose its will and no longer rules out the use of military force, even against allies,” the report said.
FE also points to the increasing US interest in Greenland as a result of increased great power rivalry in the Arctic.
At the same time, the Danish Military Intelligence Service writes in the report that the main risks to national security, as before, there is Russia and China.
