Russian occupation forces advanced near the settlements of Yunakivka in Sumy Oblast and Sviato-Pokrovskoye in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: According to the project, the enemy has an advance near the village of Yunakivka of the Yunakiv village community of the Sumy district of the Sumy region, as well as near the village of Svyato-Pokrovske of the Siver city community of the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region.
What preceded:
- On December 22, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Russian troops captured 52 civilians, including children, from the village of Grabovskoe in the Sumy region, and also captured 13 soldiers of the Defense Forces.
- Earlier, the publication “Kordon.Media” reported that on the night of December 20, in the Krasnopil region of the Sumy region, Russian troops entered the border village of Grabovskoe, located directly on the border line.
- The following day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that Russian troops crossed the state border of Ukraine near the village of Grabovskoe in the Sumy region on the border with Russia and took more than 50 civilians from there. There, according to the HUK, “stabilization measures” are ongoing.
- Analytical project DeepState reports that a group of Ukrainian fighters who held the border area in the village of Grabovskoe, in the Sumy Oblast, was irresponsible in carrying out tasks, which led to the fact that the Russians entered there.
- December 5and in the Seversky direction, during the capture, the occupiers shot a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- The “West” operational command reported that a Ukrainian serviceman of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade “Edelweiss” was recorded on the footage. They added that in the area of Sviato-Pokrovsky, the enemy carried out a covert infiltration into the battle formations of the Defense Forces, taking advantage of the weather conditions.
