Death Stranding 2 will play new Low Roar songs / photo – Kojima ProductionsLow Roar will again appear in Death Stranding 2, despite the death of his frontman Ryan Karazia in 2022.
Hideo Kodzim told this in an interview with IGN. After the first part of the game, the music of the team became the business card of the project, and one of the tracks, I’ll Keep Coming, sounded in the first trailer.
After the death of Karazia, the involvement of Low Roar seemed unlikely, however, according to Kodzima, the musician’s family appealed to him with a proposal to use unfinished compositions. Then he refused, to mix other people’s unfinished ideas seemed unethical to him. But later the family sent a completely finished album, and some tracks will still get into the game.
It is probably about House in the Woods, a posthumous plate that was released in February 2025. This is the sixth and last release of the band, which included songs with the vocals of Karazia, recorded before his departure.
In Sikwell, as in the original, music from various performers will sound: except Low Roar, the soundtrack included Woodkid compositions and Caroline Polachek.
The Death Stranding 2 release is assigned to June 26. The game will become an exclusive PlayStation 5.
