DBR: two policemen were informed of suspicion after a man was beaten near the RTCC in Kyiv

Two policemen were reported on suspicion of exceeding their official powers after beating a man near the Holosiivsky RTCC in Kyiv, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

“It was established that on October 17, 2025, police officers inflicted at least 10-15 blows with hands and feet on the head and body to a man who was lying on the doorstep of a minibus and did not resist, as a result of which the victim received injuries, the extent of which will be determined by the examination,” the OGP said.

The DBR added: “it was established that the detainee was beaten after he sprayed pepper spray in the interior of the car.”

According to the SBI, the man has multiple bruises, he was sent for a forensic medical examination to determine the level of physical damage from the beating.

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of up to eight years.

After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, martial law was introduced and general mobilization was announced. Reports of scandals and conflicts between TCC employees and citizens on the streets of towns and villages regularly appear in the Ukrainian information space.
