The State Bureau of Investigation has canceled the interrogation of the Chairman of the Center for Combating Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin, who is suspected of evasion of military service and fraud for July 17 and 18.
According to Shabunin himself in an interview with Radio NV, the calls for interrogations were properly designed, but they were canceled allegedly in order to remove it from Kiev as soon as possible.
This morning, Shabunin had to go to the place of service in Kharkiv region. He also suggested that the cancellation of interrogations may be associated with his public statements, since he planned media outputs and international meetings on July 17.
We will remind that earlier the DBR searched the house of Shabunin and the military unit where it serves. Law enforcement officers also stated that the activist had used an SUV that was imported as humanitarian aid.
On July 15, the Pechersk court elected Shabunin a precautionary measure in the form of a personal obligation by August 20.
