Details: The police report does not specify the name of the suspect, but according to the UP source, it is about Maksym Hrytsenkowho in 2023 held the position of Acting director of the department of resource provision and about the so-called “Grynkevich case”.
In 2023, enterprises controlled by Ihor Hrynkevich concluded contracts with the Ministry of Defense for the supply of military clothing. In particular, the companies signed 23 agreements worth over UAH 1.5 billion.
At the same time, at the time of signing the contracts, the companies controlled by the Lviv entrepreneur had neither their own production capabilities nor agreements with other companies to ensure the proper execution of the agreements.
In order to avoid the imposition of fines or their significant reduction, the plots turned to the acting director of the specialized department of the Ministry of Education and Culture. They asked to list the fines issued for violation of the terms of delivery of goods.
The official, in violation of the norms of the previously concluded contracts, unjustifiably and groundlessly concluded additional agreements, which extended the terms of delivery of goods, including those for contracts that have already been fully fulfilled.
It was established that due to Hrytsenko’s actions, the issued fines were unjustifiably reduced from almost UAH 98 million to UAH 4.5 million, i.e. by UAH 93.5 million.
The exhibitor was notified of suspicion of abuse of power or official position.
The investigation will ask the court to choose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention, with the alternative of providing bail in the amount of 100 million hryvnias.
