David Beckham and his son Brooklyn looked identical this week as they attended events on the other side of the globe.

Despite their estrangement, Brooklyn, 26, seems keen to embody his famous father, 50, after recently growing a beard.

Yet while the father-son pair may have been morphing into each other looks-wise, when it came to their career aspirations, they were dealt very different hands this week.

David added another string to his creative bow as he attended the BOSS show in Milan on Thursday after launching his second co-designed capsule collection with the brand.

In contrast Brooklyn – who has tried his hand at football, modelling, photography, F1 racing and cooking – won’t be adding golfer to his list of varied career choices after being humiliated at the Ryder Cup celebrity golf match in New York on Wednesday.

David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest child played for the Europe team alongside former basketball player Toni Kukoč as they competed against Eli Manning and Colin Jost from the USA team in the first round of the celebrity playoffs.

However, fans at the Bethpage Black golf course in Farmingdale witnessed Brooklyn play a ‘terrible’ game, during which they mocked him for his ‘lack of talent.’

Even had David and Brooklyn been on speaking terms, the former England captain wouldn’t have been able to watch his son at the golf game as he was needed in Italy to promote his new BOSS line.

Ahead of attending the brand’s Milan Fashion Week show he turned up the heat as he stripped down to nothing but his underwear in a sizzling snap

The football ace was certainly on fine form as he displayed his chiselled chest and tattoos while posing n his hotel balcony, soaking up the fashion capital’s gorgeous views.

He cheekily captioned the post: ‘Buongiorno Milano ❤️ I promise I’m wearing BOSS @boss (boxers emoji).’

Later in the day, David cut a dapper figure in a brown velvet blazer and tailored trousers as he joined Hugo Boss’ CEO, Daniel Grieder at the runway presentation.

He paired the stylish number with a black turtleneck jumper and a pair of leather ankle boots, flashing a glimpse of a smile for the cameras.

The star appeared in high spirits as he led the front row for the brand’s Women’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection

‘I love this time of year, the layering, accessories and clothes that are stylish yet comfortable,’ David said of his latest fashion venture

David’s trip to Milan came days after he posed for BOSS’ Fall/Winter 2025 campaign to launch his second co-designed capsule collection.

The former footballer featured in his collab BECKHAM x BOSS as well as the BOSS ONE Bodywear collection – but it’s not quite as racy as the shoot he shot for the brand at the start of the year.

The BECKHAM x BOSS collection features sleek suits, bomber jackets, polos, T-shirts, and accessories: all tailored to reflect the star’s personal style.

The campaign, shot by Mert and Marcus, also includes the launch of the BOSS ONE Bodywear collection, where the Salford City co-owner is the face and a key part of the marketing.

‘I love this time of year, the layering, accessories and clothes that are stylish yet comfortable,’ David said of his latest fashion venture.

‘Right from the early stages of development, I wanted to create a collection inspired by the feeling I get when I am at home in the countryside in the colder months.

‘With my second collection with BOSS, we’ve put a strong focus on textures and materials that give classic pieces a fresh, modern feel.’

Joining him on the front row were Corey Mylchreest, Ishaan Khattar, and Daniel Grieder (pictured L-R)

Boris Becker and his wife Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro also attended the fashion show, joining a slew of A-list guests on the front row

Ashley Graham flaunted her enviable curves in a chocolate brown figure-hugging dress as she stormed the catwalk

Meanwhile, Marco Falcioni, SVP of Creative Direction at BOSS, said: ‘We were incredibly excited to work with David again for this second chapter of BECKHAM x BOSS.

‘The collection presents a natural evolution of our debut collaboration. It lets David’s personal style shine through, while keeping a classic BOSS feeling at its core.

He added: ‘We have worked hand in hand with him to curate a wardrobe that is versatile and elegant, perfect for both the city – and the great outdoors.’

The campaign entailed a 360-degree marketing approach, featuring a large hand-painted mural in East London, billboards in major global cities, store installations, and pop-ups.

Shot by the legendary Mert and Marcus, the campaign brings the collection to life in the grand setting of an 18th-century London mansion.

The stripped-back, stately-home backdrop perfectly mirrors the collection’s ethos: a harmonious blend of heritage and modernity.

Art-directed by Team Laird, the visuals showcase David’s aesthetic – effortlessly stylish and undeniably iconic.

Meanwhile, David’s lookalike son Romeo, 23, took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday to share a slew of mirror selfies (including this hoody snap)

In another mirror selfie taken earlier on in the day, the model showcased his chest and arm tattoos in a white vest top and grey jogging bottoms
