World champion in super heavyweight according to the IBF version Daniel Dubois (22–2, 21 KOs) commented on the fight with Anthony Joshua (28–4, 25 KOs) and admitted that he can hold a rematch with his compatriot:

“Honestly, I think people still underestimate me. So I still have something to prove. But I’m glad I silenced them for a while.

It was fate (match with Joshua – note). In my opinion, it was clear that I was ready for this. I was very, very confident. Huge respect to Anthony, but it’s time to pass the baton.

As soon as I won, everyone fell silent, disappeared. Eddie Hearn usually talks a lot, but he’s also been quiet. I calmed everyone down. Maybe it will happen (rematch with Joshua – note), you never know what awaits you next. I understand that I can get a lot of money for the second fight with Joshua. If I were him, I would retire, buy a big island and relax,” Dubois admitted.
