In 2024, sales of new cars in the private segment of the car market increased by 8%.
Sales of new passenger cars in the private segment showed an increase of 8% / UNIAN collage, photo ua.depositphotos.comLast year, 69,600 new cars were added to the car fleet of Ukraine. Of this number, 44,300 cars were purchased by private customers, and another 25,300 by legal entities. Such data is provided by the specialized portal UkrAvtoprom.Thus, if compared with 2023, sales of new passenger cars in the private segment showed an increase of 8%, while in the corporate segment it was 27%.
Both in the private and corporate sectors, crossovers turned out to be the most popular cars.
The most popular models in the private sector:
- Toyota RAV4 – 3167 units;
- Mazda CX-5 – 1611;
- Renault Duster – 1538;
- Kia Sportage – 1522;
- Volkswagen ID.4 -1506.
The most popular models for legal entities:
- Renault Duster – 5288 units;
- Peugeot Landtrek – 1108;
- Škoda Octavia – 1028;
- Toyota Hilux – 1019;
- Toyota RAV4 – 901.
