Critics Choice Awards trophy Critics Choice Association
The Critics Choice Awards are being handed out Sunday night.
Among the early winners are Sarah Snook of All Her Fault and Erin Doherty, Stephen Graham and Owen Cooper of Adolescencewhich also won the award for best limited series.
Sinnersmeanwhile, has nabbed two awards so far, including the trophy for best casting and ensemble, a new category this year. The film’s Miles Caton was named best young actor or actress.
Chelsea Handler returned to host the annual ceremony for a fourth consecutive year. The critics organization has added four new categories to this year’s celebration of the best in film and TV: In addition to casting/ensemble, the other new categories are best variety series, stunt design and sound.
Heading into the show, Sinners leads the Critics Choice Awards nominees with a total of 17, followed by One Battle After Another with 14 and Hamnet and Frankenstein with 11 nominations each.
