Football player of the English “Chelsea” Mykhailo Mudryk passed a positive doping test and may receive a long-term disqualification.
A prohibited substance was found in the blood of the 23-year-old Ukrainian winger – in October 2024, sample “A” was taken.
British journalists reported that the Ukrainian football player was temporarily suspended from football and therefore missed several of Chelsea’s last matches.
Sources report that Mudryk plans to defend his position – the player is confident that he did not take the substance on purpose. According to people familiar with the case, there are suspicions of sabotage, but it is still impossible to prove it.
London “Chelsea” issued an official statement in which it announced the start of its own investigation.
