The problem is that Foodor was ordered to conduct compulsory WBO protection against Puertorane Kander Zaias (21-0, 13 KO). In parallel with the former ex-world champion, Tim Ju (25–2, 18 KOs) activated in the contract the item about Revsk with Sebastian for the WBC belt.
In this situation, a boxer from the US did not have the choice – I had to give up the WBO title and focus on preparing for the CZU. Boxers had already met – in March last year, Foodor defeated the opponent with a separate decision of judges.
It is worth noting that in the WBC ranking for a long time the first place is occupied by Ukrainian Sergey Bochachuk. The organization has repeatedly promised the applicant for the title, but the Foundra refuses to enter the ring with a boxer from Ukraine.
Considering that Sebastian is now obliged to fight the JU, Bogachuk will have to wait for a title chance, despite all the promises of the World Boxing Council leaders.
