The current head of the Kryvorizka District Military Administration, Yevhen Sytnychenko, is considered a likely contender for the position of head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
He notes this human rights defender Serhiy Naumovych in his publication on the “Censor” portal.
“I have some understanding of this situation, and I can state that a person who, in my opinion, will weaken the region, as he is quite controversial, is applying for the leadership position of Dnipropetrovsk OVA. This is Yevhen Sytnychenko. He is supported by two influential fellow deputies — agrarian Oleksandr Fastovets and Yuriy Koryavchenkov (“Yuzik”), who have been influencing personnel decisions in Kryvyi Rih and the region as a whole for a long time,” Naumovych wrote.
He recalled a case from the early 2000s, when Sytnychenko, according to the blogger, received about 20 hectares of land while he was a student and later a teacher.
“Formally, this land was his property. Do you remember how Leonid “Cosmos” Chernovetsky robbed the land of Kyiv? When many students unexpectedly received large areas of the capital’s territory by decision of the Kyiv City Council. Just like that. About the same thing happened to Sytnychenko: he “unexpectedly” received 20 hectares of land when he studied at the university, and then worked as a teacher. By the way, this is where the nickname “Fizruk” comes from. It is clear that in fact he did not dispose of these 20 hectares. But it was a long time ago, no doubt. Here is more relevant and significant: when the full-scale aggression began, in 2022, Sytnychenko initiated the establishment of the military administration of the Nivotrudiv village council without a presidential decree, which is contrary to the current legislation. This episode is well remembered by local residents, because immediately after the “creation” of this organization, which was called the village council, Sytnychenko appointed Andriy Rovnov as its head, who almost instantly, a few days later, confiscated 1,200 hectares from the enterprise in the village of Niva-Trudova. The future fate of these lands is unknown. Also, 48 hectares were taken from the farm and transferred to a controlled company,” the blogger said.

In addition, Naumovych emphasized that Sytnichenko’s name appeared in the so-called “Yuzik tapes” – audio recordings where, as Naumovych notes, people’s elected officials in Kryvyi Rih discussed the allocation of positions after the 2019 elections.
We will remind you that similar information was previously announced by the head of the NGO “Narodniy Til” and the former deputy minister for temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine, Heorhiy Tuka.
We will remind, in 2025 the invader actually entered the administrative territory of the region: in particular, in July 2025, according to certain information, the invasion of Russian troops into the territory of the region was recorded. According to media reports, at least five villages are currently occupied on the territory of Dnipropetrovsk region — in particular: Novogeorgiivka, Zaporizhia, Sichneve, Maliivka and Voronov.
