The Ukrainian band Antitila presents a new song and music video “Home” to remind us of the most precious thing – about our home and relatives, our people.
“At home” was created so that everyone who listens to it will feel this warmth inside. The warmth that a person feels when he is at home, on his native land. The song was written in order to add some light to the lives of Ukrainians in these difficult times. To those heroes who are on the front lines, to those Ukrainians who fight and daily overcome incredible difficulties while in Ukraine, as well as to those who were forced to leave their homes, are temporarily abroad and miss all their relatives who are waiting for them at home. This song, at least for a few minutes, with its melody and words, will help you mentally find yourself where everyone belongs. To be at home,” comments the band’s frontman Taras Topolya.
Work on the composition did not last long, the song was ready in a few weeks of August.
The video series for the song was created to share love and nostalgia for native places, with which the most memories are connected, and to which each of us is tied by an invisible thread.
The band Antitila together with the film crew spent seven days traveling all over Ukraine and preserving in the frame the character and mood of the free and so dear Motherland. Not all locations used in the clip are recognizable and well-known, but this is their uniqueness. Everyone will find something familiar and familiar in these frames. Ternopil, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Kherson… and many other streets, squares, courtyards and rooftops of Ukrainian cities and towns were captured. The video clip was worked on by the team of director Dmytro Shmurak, who is already known for his collaboration with Antibodies in music videos “Dance”, “Headlights” and “2Step”.
You can hear Antityl’s new work live already this fall, from September 25 to November 14, at the band’s live concerts as part of a large Ukrainian tour that will cover 43 cities of Ukraine.
For the first time in many years, fans of the band will have the opportunity to hear both their favorite hits, such as “TDME”, “Lovy Moment”, “Virila”, as well as new works “Broken”, “You are the one”, “Fortress Bakhmut”, “2Step”, “At home” and others. Each concert of the tour is a big program full of strong emotions and deep meanings.
