During the meeting, the commanders discussed the current situation in the Azov-Black Sea region and joint steps to strengthen the defense of Ukraine. In particular, projects aimed at the development of missile systems, surface and underwater unmanned systems, which are of strategic importance for countering threats at sea.
“Rear-admiral Henrik Rüberg expressed readiness to deepen cooperation in these areas,” the Navy said.
Distinguished guests were shown the maneuverability of boats of the Ukrainian fleet, their maneuverability, technical equipment and ability to quickly perform tasks.
Foreign guests together with representatives of the command of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also honored the memory of the fallen heroes who gave their lives for the freedom of Ukraine.
