156 combat clashes have been recorded at the front since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian General Staff reported in a summary as of the evening of November 12.

According to the report, most of the fighting took place in the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsky directions.

“At this time of the day, there are 47 combat clashes of varying intensity in the Kurakhiv direction. The occupiers most actively tried to advance in the districts of Illinka, Novoselidivka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Dalnyi and Antonivka. The fighting continues. In the Pokrovsky direction, there is a high intensity of hostilities. The number of clashes has increased to 28. The invaders continue to attack our positions in the direction of the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Pustinka and Novooleksiivka. Our defenders have so far repelled 19 attacks, nine clashes are ongoing,” the message reads.

In addition, according to the General Staff, the battles took place in the Kharkiv, Kupyan, Lyman, Siver, Toretsk, Vremiv, Dnieper directions.

“The Russian aggressors launched one missile attack on the territory of Ukraine with two missiles, 69 airstrikes, dropped 106 anti-aircraft missiles, and also used 873 kamikaze drones. At the same time, the enemy fired 4,178 shots at the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the command added.

Recently, the Kurakhiv direction remains the leader in terms of the number of attacks in the reports of the General Staff. The Russian army is “tightening its grip” around Kurakhovo – this was reported by the DeepState analytical project over the past three days.

According to the project of Radio Liberty Donbass. Realiy, judging by the map, Kurakhove found itself in a huge “bag”, the distance between the extreme flanks of which is about 20 kilometers. Analysts from DeepState noted that even additional resources that arrive to reinforce this area are not always adequately deployed.
