“Come back alive” helped to develop ammunition against FPV-oules

Vlad Cherevko I have been interested in all kinds of electronics and technologies since 2004. I like to play computer games, and I understand the work of different gadgets. I regularly monitor the news of the technology in the world and write materials about it.

“Come back alive” has joined the development of new ammunition, which are able to knock down the enemy FPV. This is stated in the Fund’s message.

The creation of cartridges was attended by senior Fund Instructor Ruslan Shpakovich. It is a 1.45 mm and 5.56 mm caliber, which are adapted for use with regular small arms.

A video with a demonstration was published on YouTube Channel “Come back alive.”

A key feature of the rounds is their segmental structure. The leading part of the ball is made of lead, and the affected items Brass balls with a diameter of 5 mm.

The brass is chosen because of its stability when shot: lead deforms when leaving the barrel, which reduces accuracy.

When shooting at a distance of 30-70 meters, the ball forms a “cloud of fragments”, which increases the likelihood of damage to the high-speed drone.

According to Shpakovich, these ammunition does not replace the electronic fighting systems, but can be an additional means of protection in situations where there is no access to shelter or time for other actions.

They are intended not only for infantry, but also for UAV crews, evacuation groups and other units that regularly endanger the FPV attack.

The advantage of new rounds is the ability to use ordinary weapons without the need for individual guns to fight drones.

Earlier, Brave1 defense cluster initiated the development of antitrone rounds, which will increase the chances of affecting FPV Dron or Dron reconnaissance.
