Combined attack of the Russian Federation: air defense destroyed more than 580 drones, 34 cruise missiles and “Iskander”

On the night of December 23, the Russian invaders launched a combined attack on the objects of critical infrastructure of Ukraine using attack UAVs, air and ground-based missiles.

Details: It is reported that a total of 673 air attack vehicles – 38 missiles and 635 UAVs of various types – have been identified and escorted by the Air Force’s radio engineering troops. Among them:

• 635 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types, about 400 of them are Shaheds);
• 3 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles;
• 35 Kh-101 cruise missiles, Iskander-K.

According to preliminary data, as of 11:30 a.m., anti-aircraft defense shot down and suppressed 621 air targets:

• 587 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber type (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types);
• 34 Kh-101 cruise missiles, Iskander-K.

Missiles and 39 strike UAVs were hit at 21 locations, and debris (debris) fell at 8 locations. In addition, three aeroballistic missiles did not reach their targets (landing locations are being specified).

The air attack was repulsed by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, units of EW and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The occupiers continue their attack with drones.
