Today, January 22, cloudy weather prevails in Ukraine without significant precipitation. Snow is observed only in the southwest of the country, while rain is possible in Odesa.

It is reported “Ukrhydrometeorological center”.

In the western and southern regions, fog is possible at night and during the day. The wind is moderate, southeast, with a speed of 5-10 m/s. The temperature varies: in the western regions at night 14-19° of frost, during the day from 6 to 11°, in Transcarpathia 0-3° of heat, and in the south – from 4 to 9° of frost at night, during the day 0-5° of heat.

It is also cloudy in Kyiv, without significant precipitation, but there is ice on the roads. The temperature during the day will range from 4 to 9 degrees of frost, at night – 10-15 degrees of frost.

A powerful Siberian anticyclone covering the region is blocking the inflow of warm air, so during the week we should expect a significant cooling with night temperatures down to -25°C.

It is predicted that there will be little precipitation, but the situation on the roads will remain dangerous due to ice. A gradual weakening of the frost is possible, but with the improvement of the weather it is worth waiting only with time.
