Kellogo shared all the information he gathered during conversations with the Ukrainians, Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, said two high -ranking administration officials, claiming that his absence was not a serious problem.
One of the interlocutors also noted that Rubio was not considered mild against Russia, given his previous statements, in which he called Putin a military criminal.
At the same time, Europeans are concerned that Kellogo did not join the delegation.
“He hoped to be there and he should be there,” one European official said, adding that the lack of his deep knowledge is a loss.
In his opinion, Kellogo best understands what Ukraine can go to as part of the agreement.
According to the interlocutors, Kellogo will probably be included in the delegation that will go for any future meetings between the US, Russia and Ukraine.
As reported, Trump has already flew to Alaska. On the way, he had a first telephone conversation with self -proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Trump also stated on board communication that he would not be negotiating on behalf of Ukraine when it comes to territorial issues.
