Direct speech: “There are three key tasks that I set for Defense Minister Fedorov. Number one is closing the sky. Together with the Air Force, with Chief Sirsky, with Commander Kryvonozhko. Closing the sky is important in any case, regardless of how the situation will develop. This is their task for today. It is very difficult, but that is why it is number one.”

Details: The second task, according to Zelenskyi, was to deal with the issue of busification.
Thirdly, the president asked the deputy head of the President’s Office, Pavel Palisa, together with Fedorov, to put an end to the unresolved issues regarding the contract army, so that the contracts could actually work.
There is a separate task of increasing drones.
Direct speech: “… so that we don’t overpay – we don’t buy both drones and artillery. Because the budget is a budget, and the size of our artillery is growing, and drones are growing. The military used to say this: there will be more drones – we will need less artillery. Now the question is that we need more drones, we also need more artillery. We understand that this is a difficult issue – a long-range projectile. And short artillery is no longer working, to be honest. Because the circle zone is already bigger, wider than the possibility of the projectile”.
