The case concerns the repair of the Kiev -Odessa highway, the financing of which was stopped by European bankers in 2020 due to the detected frauds in the tender in favor of Onur, after which NABU opened criminal proceedings. Despite the loss of European money, the company continued work.
Earlier, in 2021, Onur had already destroyed UAH 347 million from the state budget for this project, since the then management of Ukravtodor voluntarily paid the desired amount and did not even file an appeal. Already during a full -scale Russian invasion, in 2024, Onur won the new court on recovery of another UAH 1.09 billion from state -owned repair (renamed Ukravtodor), but the new management of the agency filed an appeal and won it in March 2025, which led to cassation.
The journalist of the Project “Our Money” Yuri Nikov points to a number of facts that testify to the privileges of Onur during the presidency of Zelensky: for example, even before the election “Quarter 95” was toured in a Turkish hotel built by a company related to the group “Onur”.
