Shein is one of the largest fast fashion retailers with 45 million monthly users in the European Union. The European Commission will be investigated with four EU member states. The decisions on fines will be made by national governments, but according to Bloomberg, the European Commission will coordinate national regulatory bodies on consumer protection in actions against Shein. SHEIN representative reported that the company intends to cooperate closely with regulatory authorities to solve problematic issues.
