China’s BYD once again became the leader of the Ukrainian car market

Ukrainians bought 7,800 new passenger cars in October 2025 – this is a record figure for the last 13 months, reports “Ukravtoprom”.

Sales volumes increased by a third compared to October 2024 and by 14% compared to September 2025.

The Chinese brand became the leader of the month again BYDwhich increased its sales by 6.5 times compared to last year’s result. In second place – Toyotatook the third position Volkswagen.

BYD – 1,199 cars (+552%)

Toyota – 978 (+44%)

Volkswagen – 856 (+136%)

Skoda – 626 (+55%)

Renault – 494 (–37%)

Hyundai – 357 (+85%)

BMW – 302 (–24%)

Audi – 262 (+38%)

Zeekr – 259 (+131%)

Nissan – 196 (+1%)

As in the previous month, the most popular car in October was an electric car Volkswagen ID.Unyx.

As a reminder, since the beginning of 2025, Ukraine has imported more than 61,000 electric cars. This is 52% more than in the same period last year.
