Stuart Bingham and Mark Selby have reached Group 5 for when the tournament reconvenes on January 20.
Earlier in the week, Ronnie O’Sullivan lost to Robert Milkins and decided to withdraw from the event following the defeat.
The Championship League is a non-ranking event and has a small prize pot but players see it as the perfect warm-up after the Christmas break.
