CARRAGHER hits out at Salah again: ‘It’s a shame’

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher does not stop harshly criticizing Mohamed Salah.

Earlier, the Egyptian striker publicly criticized Liverpool after failing to make the starting line-up three times in a row: “I’m in pain. I won the Premier League, I score the most goals in my generation. Why does it have to end like this?”

Carragher reacted sharply to these words: “It’s a shame. I don’t think it was an emotional outburst – he deliberately chose the moment to hit Slott and possibly get him released.”

Asked if there was too much criticism of Salah, Jamie said: “No. I kept talking about it because I kept getting asked.

Then there were Champions League matches, Liverpool was playing, and the news that Mo did not go to the game was the loudest. There was nowhere to go from this. This topic dominated the information space for seven to ten days, and I wouldn’t take my words back.”

Asked if the word “shame” was too harsh, Carragher said: “It really was a shame. I do not object to the other opinion, but it needs to be argued.

They say that Konate is playing poorly, but there is no alternative in the center of defense. The same can be said about Gravenberch – there is simply no other central midfielder in the team.”

“Hakpo dropped out of the squad, Ekitike missed matches, Isak sometimes appeared, sometimes not, Mc Allister played irregularly, and the defensive line was constantly changing. “Almost the whole team was erratic, except for Soboslai,” Carragher said.
