Ruslan Zagursky was born on July 4, 1998 in Vinnytsia near Lviv, studied at Irina Kalinets, Lviv comprehensive school №87, later graduated from the Lviv Higher Professional School of Food Technology and joined the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management at the Department of Law. He did not have time to complete his studies because of the beginning of a full -scale war.
From childhood, Ruslan was extremely active and versatile: from eight years he was professionally engaged in judo, at 16 started training in mixed martial arts (MMA). From the age of 15 he was fond of motorcyport: motorcycles occupied a special place in his life, he sincerely loved everything that was related to them. Also, from the age of seven, Ruslan studied music and played piano.
The guy began to travel for the “Carpathians” from the age of 17.
In the first days of a full-scale invasion of Habib volunteer, he entered the 125th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 219 battalions. Thanks to courage and perseverance, he went from a simple soldier to a younger lieutenant.
Ruslan fought for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya, South Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions. For his courage and heroism, he was awarded numerous honors from the President of Ukraine and the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces.
On September 30, 2025, Habib was killed in Zaporizhzhya while performing a combat mission.
Ruslan has parents, two brothers, a sister, a grandmother, a grandfather and a beloved girl.
Today, October 5, Ruslan Zagursky’s body will be brought home. At 19:00 in the church of Saints Vladimir and Olga in Vinnytsia, a parastas will be served, and at 9:00 a funeral prayer will begin, after which a tuple with the body of the warrior will go to Lviv, where starting at 11:00 in the garrison temple of Peter and Paul will begin. Ruslan is buried on the Lychakiv Cemetery in Mars.
According to open sources, Ivan became the 21st active supporter of the Carpathians, who died during this Russian-Ukrainian war. In particular, the life for Ukraine was given to the ultras of Lviv Taras Chuchman, Taras Berezyuk, Viktor Petrov, Alexander Kuriy, Andriy Garasim, Mykola Zabavchuk, Ivan Zarivnyak, as well as the pupils of the Carpathian school Oleg Mazur, Pavel Kirichenko, Igor Severenchuk and Igor.
