“Syrsky reported that the Military Law and Order Service is investigating the circumstances of the entry of Russian forces into the command and observation post of one of the battalions in Gulyaipol”, — write: www.radiosvoboda.org
According to him, a legal evaluation will be given to the actions of the battalion commander, first of all, after finding out why he did so, given that he was ordered to organize a circular defense and destroy everything that was valuable or contained information of a confidential nature.
“That is, they could simply burn everything. I know they had time to do it and the enemy forces there were limited. But despite the fact that this unit withdrew, the 225th Assault Regiment is holding the defense in Gulyaipol. The commanders there soberly assess the situation, conduct active assault operations, and maintain the defense,” he said.

Syrskyi noted that the situation in the Gulyaipil direction occurred because one of the territorial defense brigades during the fighting could not withstand the onslaught of the enemy – this is the 102nd brigade, which was gradually withdrawing.
“We were forced to transfer our assault units and units there, which gradually occupied what was left behind with battles. Currently, the enemy has no advantages there for a month. Every day it tries to attack and carries out attacks, but still suffers huge losses in this direction. That is why hostilities continue there,” added the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
The other day, the Russian military announced the capture of the command and observation post of the 1st battalion of the 106th territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The relevant video appeared online on December 25. In the video, the Russian military shows computers, means of communication, maps and unlocked phones.
The DeepState project previously wrote that Ukraine was “one step away from losing Gulyaipol”, and the situation began to deteriorate after the loss of Poltavka, Uspenivka and several other neighboring villages in early November.
