As Sport.ua learned, the captain of “Rukh” Marko Sapuga is in Serbia, where he is undergoing a rehabilitation period after repeated knee surgery.
At the beginning of 2024, the linebacker underwent an operation to reconstruct the cruciate ligament of the knee in one of the Polish clinics, but, unfortunately, it turned out to be unsuccessful. So, repeated surgical intervention was inevitable. In November, Serbian doctors took up the case.
According to available data, the estimated date for the return of 21-year-old Sapuga to football is August 2025.
In the current season, Marko played one match as part of “Rukh” in the UPL.
