The contract with the 20-year-old Ukrainian is valid until June 30, 2027, according to the official website of the Canaries.
Boklach’s previous club was Marseille, for which she played in 2023, playing 17 matches in all competitions. Ekaterina will replace Emila Dolan as the second goalkeeper in Nantes.
The women’s team of Nantes is preparing for the next match, which will take place on January 8 against Guingham. The Canaries occupy the 8th place in the standings of the elite division of France.
For Boclach, this is already the third club in France: previously she played for Grenoble (2022–2023) and Marseille (2023–2024). As part of Grenoble, Boklach played 19 matches, six of which she played without a goal. She played 17 matches in goal for Marseille.
Boklach made her debut for the Ukrainian national team in February 2024, coming on as a substitute in the League of Nations match against Bulgaria (3:0). She was also included in the national team’s application for the last playoff matches of the team at Euro-2025.
20-year-old Ekaterina Boklach played for Ukrainian clubs: Bukovinskaya Nadezhda Chernivtsi, Invictus Kyiv, Ladomyr Vladimir, as well as Polish club Gurnyk, Armenian team Hayas, French Grenoble and Marseille.
