Cabinet set a fixed gas price by the end of the season

The government has continued to impose special duties on natural gas market. The fixed price for natural gas for the population and budgetary institutions will remain unchanged until March 31, 2026. Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko reported this in the telegram. “We are working to ensure stability for Ukrainians this winter, and has new challenges given the strengthening of Russian energy attacks. The government has continued to impose special duties on natural gas market. The fixed price for natural gas for the population and budgetary institutions will remain unchanged until March 31, 2026.

Prime Minister Julia reported this in the telegram Sviridenko .

“We are working to ensure stability for Ukrainians this winter, and has new challenges given the strengthening of Russian energy attacks. The purpose is to undergo the heating season, despite all the challenges of martial law. Provide light, warmth and predictable tariffs. For this purpose, the fixed price for natural gas for the population and budgetary institutions remains unchanged until March 31, 2026, ”she wrote.

Thus the price of gas will be:

For the population – 7 420 UAH for 1 000 cubic meters. m (with VAT).

For budgetary institutions – 16 390 UAH for 1 000 cubic meters. m (with VAT).

This will keep stable tariffs for people throughout the heating season.

The Cabinet also forbade to turn off light and gas to some debtors.

Ukraine plans 30% to increase natural gas imports through massive Russian shelling energy objects.
