The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution according to which certain categories of citizens will receive one -time financial assistance in the amount of 2700 to 3100 hryvnias before Independence Day.

Who will receive help
Payments are provided for persons who have the status of war veterans or are victims of Nazi persecution – in accordance with the Laws on the Status of War Veterans and “On Victims of Nazi Pursuit”.
The amount of assistance will depend on belonging to a specific preferential category and will be from 2700 to 3100 UAH.
How payments will be made

Pensioners – automatically together with August pension.
-
Servicemen and working veterans – through the institutions where they serve or work.

Non -working and non -natural – after submitting an application to the territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
How to apply
Persons who do not work or receive a pension must apply for arbitrary form by 1 August 2025. If it is impossible to submit it by this date – the documents will be accepted by October 1.
The statement must indicate:

passport data;
-
bank account number;
-
RKOKPP (if any);
-
Details of a certificate confirming the right to help.
The statement is added:

a copy of the passport or temporary certificate of the citizen of Ukraine;
-
a copy of the certificate confirming the relevant status (in the case of personal submission – originals).
How to apply

personally to the Pension Fund Service Center or to the CNAP;

by mail;
-
Online – through the electronic portal of the Pension Fund with the use of caps.
The payment mechanism remained unchanged. Those who received this assistance last year are entitled to this year without additional request.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada approved the change of law, which guarantee servicemen the right to receive monetary compensation for all unused days of annual basic and additional leave in the event of dismissal from service during martial law.
We have also reported that on June 3, the Verkhovna Rada supported the first reading of the Bill No. 13266, which provides for the establishment of the Institute of Military Ombudsman.
