This was stated by a diplomat, extraordinary and authorized Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom (from 2020 to 2023) Vadim Prystayko on Espreso.

“I think the US has received it. The signal is: the rates will rise, and they will rise until Russia is satisfied with the position that the United States has taken in negotiations. The diplomat believes that the Americans “end the arguments and Ukrainian territories, which they are ready to give to the Russians.”
“Putin calmly simply raises rates, because no whips are not in a set of Americans, there are only gingerbread. So negotiations with the aggressor are not conducted,” – summarized Prystayko.
