Direct speech: “I remain in the position of deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. It is in this role that I will continue to work and achieve justice for Ukraine and Ukrainians on the international track.
I focus on the coordination of issues in the sphere of justice and justice in Ukraine, as well as on the formation and implementation of Ukraine’s international policy in terms of ensuring justice and holding the Russian Federation accountable for armed aggression. These are directions where consistency, trust of partners and results are important, not changing the signs on the door.
The candidate for the post of Minister of Justice is Denys Maslov. If the Verkhovna Rada supports his candidacy, he will head the Ministry. I wish him success in this responsible work. I am sure that, under whose leadership, the Ministry of Justice will be transformed from a procedural administrator to a body that really forms legal policy in the state and is the main advocate of the state.”
What preceded: On December 1, “Ukrainian Pravda” wrote that the head of the legal committee of the Rada from “Servant of the People” Denys Maslov is being considered for the position of Minister of Justice in the president’s team.
On December 8, “Ukrainian Pravda” reported that when the leadership of “Servant of the People” began to collect votes among people’s deputies for the appointment of Maslov as Minister of Justice, it turned out that many deputies were against it. Then another candidate appeared – the deputy head of the OP Iryna Mudra.
